Freedom of speech is the freedom to speak freely without censorship or limitation. We believe freedom of speech is one of the fundamental rights. Unfortunately, media censorship is enforced, fairly or unfairly, in almost every country in the world. Many people believe that proper censorship is needed to protect the young growing minds and we agree completely. However, we believe that it cannot be the excuse for censorship of general public media. A healthy and educated adult should be able to judge what is right and what is wrong based on all the information available; the judgment should not influenced by some self-proclaimed “healthy and educated” adults who dictate what type of information should be made available. One of our main goals is to provide a free speech environment with strong layers of protection for young and fragile minds.
Freedom of diversity is the freedom to be intrinsically diverse without being discriminated or incriminated. "Freedom of diversity" is actually one of the terms we created. We came up this term because while GLBT community fought hard for their equal rights, we felt that a healthy society should embrace people with diversity. Throughout the last century, people fought hard for rights of people with disability, disease, minority race, and sexual orientation. There is no doubt that people will continue to encounter new types of diversity as the society and technology progress. Thus, the fight for equal rights should not stop here; we should continue to pursue a society where we can comfortably be who we are.
